Each parent will get two (2) cards with detailed information about their child. Not only should each parent get an CHILD-SAFE ID card, but ANY family member, babysitter, care-giver, coach or institution which is directly responsible for supervising your child/children, should have an updated card. It MUST BE READILY AVAILABLE in the event that it is needed. Older more responsible children should carry a card on them in case they are injured and unable to communicate.

This card can give you a peace of mind in knowing that you are prepared for unintentional injuries your child may suffer. Does your child have allergies, asthma, a chronic disorder, rare abnormalities, disabilities, or is on medication (IMPORTANT if your child needs other kind of medication for treatment of an injury).?

These cards are mobile, small, durable and will complement what the school has. For example; the schools' coach can carry these cards for every away game that your child's team may go on, thereby having important contact and medical information on hand in the event of injury to your child.

Anyone who might be responsible for the care of your child including; parents, relatives, neighbors, babysitters, schools, sports clubs, coaches, or even the child themselves.

Time is of the essence when a child is injured. It is important to QUICKLY inform parents, and know FOR SURE if the child is allergic to any particular drug/medication, or has a chronic disorder, or if the child is on medication that may conflict with be treated. This MUST BE KNOWN BEFORE TREATMENT.

It can bring you peace of mind knowing that this information is readily available at your fingertips. In the event of an emergency, you may be emotionally distraught or in shock, medical staff can then get the information off of the card thereby answering important questions and wasting little time in giving treatment.
